This woven is inspired by a dessert I make with my grandmother called Blueberry Crunch. The poncho was a gift for my grandmother and a corresponding tapestry was a gift for my mom to connect us all through our favorite homemade dessert. The composition is stripes representing the different layers that go into the recipe. The material used was pineapple ramie to represent the pineapple, multi colored tobie mori represent the blueberries and a cream cotton representing the cake mix and sugar.
